rabbit + hare control
Rabbits and hares can quickly undo the establishment of pasture and young forestry plantings, with damage that compounds season after season if populations aren't kept in check.
the problem
Rabbit numbers can build up quickly once a population is established, with warrens concentrating damage in specific areas and grazing pressure spreading further afield. Hares tend to be more solitary but still cause real damage to young trees and regenerating bush, particularly on forestry margins next to open pasture. Left alone, both keep undoing establishment work year after year
HOW WE CONTROL
We use ground based culling to bring numbers down and keep them there, tailored to the scale of the infestation and the type of land involved:
Ground-based culling, including night shooting when rabbits and hares are most active and easiest to locate.
Thermal imaging and night vision to work accurately after dark across open pasture and forestry margins.
Drone surveying to assess population density and distribution before planning a control programme, particularly over larger blocks.
Our approach focuses on sustainable, ongoing control rather than a one-off knockdown, so you're not back to square one within a year.
